Embracing the future of jazz and soul through its openness to multi-cultural and stylistic influences, Montreal vocalist Monica Shore leads this group supported by drummer Hans Verhoeven, bassist Rob Johnson & guitarist Paul Landsberg.
Shore is a vibrant performer with an intimate, heartfelt relationship to the music. Her velvety, strong and soulful tone carries a certain mysteriousness that captivates and soothes the listener. Following studies in jazz performance at McGill University, she has performed at the Montreal International Jazz Festival and in that city's finest jazz clubs.
